What can I do to stop getting Alerts - SharePoint 2010

Steps to Remove SharePoint 2010 Alerts


go to "My Alerts on this Site"

http://mysharepointsite.com/_layouts/MySubs.aspx

Select and Remove the "Alert" 

What happened to “Alert Me” SharePoint 2010 document library?


There are two different settings you need to check.

1. Central admin / Manage web applications / General Settings / outgoing emails

Make sure you configured this correctly.



2. Central admin / Manage web applications / General Settings / General Settings

Make sure “Alerts” are turned “On”

SharePoint 2010 – How to open files that prompt for Save or Cancel
